US02-7000 Semicon Shaver & Stripping Tool

US02-7000 Semicon Shaver & Stripping Tool by Ripley quickly and easily removes bonded semi-con from MV & HV power cables without the requirement for lubrication. The US02 tool provides an exceptionally smooth finish and does not require lubricating grease as the integral wheels provide a sustained motion during the cable preparation process.

LHA/60 cable jointing tools

LHA/60 cable jointing tools manufactured by Alroc are used by MV-HV jointers to remove the insulation to prepare the cable ready for the installation of joints, terminations or connectors. The Alroc LHA-60 enables the user to realise a chamfer of 30° at the extremity of the insulation of MV cables.

BRMRD1E cable jointing tools

BRMRD1E cable jointing tools manufactured by Alroc are used by MV-HV jointers to remove the XLPE insulation to prepare the cable ready for the installation of cable joints, terminations or connectors. The BRMRD1E enables the user to set the length and remove the insulation with a straight and neat cut on MV cables.

LH2 cable jointing tools

LH2 cable jointing tools manufactured by Alroc are used by MV-HV jointers to remove the insulation to prepare the cable ready for the installation of joints, terminations or connectors. The LH2 enables ruler to set the length of insulation to be removed and back-iron to set the pitch of the tool making easy to rotate the tool.

PG4 HTA cable tools

PG4 HTA cable tools manufactured by Alroc are used by MV-HV jointers to remove the outer sheath to prepare the cable ready for the installation of joints, terminations or connectors.The PG4 HTA enables the user to make a circular and longitudinal cut in order to remove cable’s outer sheath.

US15 Cable Sheath Jacket Stripping tool

US15 Cable Sheath Jacket Stripping tool by Ripley provides fast, safe, and precise jacket removal from both hard and soft insulated cables without damaging the underlying layers on LV MV HV (Low | Medium | High Voltage Cables). The US15 tool is a versatile medium duty slitting tool, used primarily to assist in the removal of outer sheathing and primary insulation on lower voltage industrial power cables.

The MRA meter

The MRA meter is used to measure the diameter of the cables according to its circumference and the stripping lengths to be performed and is a useful part of the Nexans Expert Tool Kit.

Kevlar® Scissors. Ergonomic, comfort grip shears designed to cut through tough Kevlar® strength fibers. Micro-serrated stainless steel blades grip fibers, reducing slippage and producing clean cuts every time. Optional molded pouch with belt loop keeps the tool safely on hand.
